MCD was founded 30 years ago by Michael Falzon Sr, and although our business has grown up since then, our family values remain central to the way we operate.
We were over the moon to welcome a new generation of Falzons' to the MCD Group. Holly is the daughter of our CEO Michael and joined MCD Group in 2020. Read her MCD Story below.
I have been part of the MCD team since July 2020 and I have been part of both the heritage and construction teams. When I started, I went to work straight on the Radstock Street site where I learnt many valuable skills. I really enjoyed this project and it was my first insight to MCD. I have also been working on the Lindfield site. My favourite part of this site was learning and seeing how the ground source heat pump was installed! I have also been working in the office recently with the commercial team which involves procuring projects and tender analysis.
Everyone at MCD has been very friendly and supportive. As I am a trainee, I have limited knowledge and skills. Everyone has been very understanding, patient and has taught me so much which has really helped my learning. We are a family run business, so everyone works very close and helps each other out.
I feel very proud to be part of MCD. It is am amazing place to work and has great people. To be part of the team 30 years from when it started is fantastic!
