I worked at MCD for 16 years.
What did you like best about MCD?
I liked the variety of work. I made plinths, doors, windows and furniture for various art galleries and other clients.
Could you describe how you found working at MCD in a few words?
It was always busy but I only needed to ask Michael or Charlie to send someone to help me when needed.
In your opinion, what makes MCD different from other companies?
It's a family run business and not only were they my employers we became good friends and I'm still in touch with Michael and Charlie now and we meet socially fairly regularly.
Your birthday message...
When I first started working for MCD, it was in a small workshop with limited room but it wasn't long before we moved to a much larger unit on an industrial business estate. My machines were upgraded and the facilities were much improved. Its good to see the company expanding and I wish them all the very best of luck for the future.
