Since 2021, our specialist team has been carrying out sensitive restoration works to the auditorium and its magnificent dome, overcoming challenging access conditions, intricate architectural details and the need to achieve an exceptional finish without compromising the building’s historic character.
Working alongside our trusted partners, Little Greene Paint and Graco, we’ve used Little Greene’s Intelligent Matt Emulsion in Ambleside – an authentic Edwardian shade selected to complement the theatre’s original design while providing a durable, high-quality finish.
Projects like this demonstrate that heritage restoration is about far more than applying paint. It requires specialist knowledge, skilled craftsmanship and the right products and equipment to protect historic features while delivering lasting results.
Graco’s specialist application equipment has supported our team throughout the project, helping us work efficiently in challenging areas while achieving the consistent, high-quality finish required for this sensitive restoration.
As works continue, we look forward to revealing the transformation of this celebrated London landmark and showcasing how collaboration, expertise and quality materials are helping to preserve its legacy for years to come.
