This is MCD Heritage's 21st year supporting the Turner Prize exhibition builds and it’s an honour to continue to be part of such an incredible exhibition.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Turner prize with the first prize being awarded back in 1984.
The exhibition showcases work from Pio Abad, Claudette Johnson, Jasleen Kaur and Delaine Le Bas who are the four artists shortlisted for this year’s prize, which runs from the 25th of September until the 16th of Feb 2025. The winner is announced on the 3rd of December 2024.
This impressive project involved the reconfiguration of the gallery walls, full redecoration of the space, construction of bespoke plinths and showcases, and the installation of low-level lighting, to display the artwork. Our team of highly skilled trades people completed this project in just six weeks.
