In April 2023 MCD Heritage were awarded the exterior refurbishment project for Thames Reach, situated in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The estate was built between 1991 and 1995 and boasts 50 privately owned residential flats overlooking the Thames.
The scope of the project involved a complete exterior decoration of the building including restoring all metal railings and balconies. In addition, the team replaced the existing wooden decked areas surrounding the building. Our team of specialist scaffolders were tasked with supporting the safe working areas around the building, allowing tradespeople to operate above a pedestrian area in close proximity to the Thames.
MCD Heritage completed this project in 12 weeks, working closely with the client and building managers to ensure the works had minimal impact to the residents during the project. As always care was taken to ensure that the project used as few new materials as possible.
