The scope of the project involved a complete exterior refurbishment of the building, restoring the original ironworks, brickwork, wooden windows, and stonework as well as making repairs to the roof. Care was taken to ensure that the repairs used as little new materials as possible and that all works were in-keeping with the period of the building.

MCD Heritage completed this complex project in 12 weeks working around the client’s busy schedule and ensuring that the project had the least amount of impact on their day-to-day. The project management team highlighted niche trades early during the pre-construction phase, and upskilled members of the team to ensure they had the correct skills to complete the works.
