In September 2022 MCD Heritage where awarded the exterior refurbishment project of Belvedere and Millennium House, as part of an ongoing 5-year cycle of external refurbishment works of the Estate. Situated on Grosvenor Road, Pimlico along the Thames overlooking Vauxhall, the Estate boasts 45 privately owned residential flats.
The scope of the project involved a complete exterior refurb of the of both blocks, restoring original brickwork and stonework. The buildings also received extensive resin timber repair and decoration, restoring all the original windows back to their former glory. Our team of roofers installed new lead roof access lines and completed a full Doff clean of the buildings and surrounding pathway areas.
MCD Heritage completed this project in an impressive 16 weeks, working closely with the client and building managers to ensure that the works had minimal impact to the residents during the project. As always care was taken to ensure that the project used as few new materials as possible and kept all works with the period of the building.
